As a Production Technician - Mechanical, you will play a key role in the assembly, build, testing, and mechanical integration of complex high‑tech systems within a precision‑focused manufacturing environment, working a rotating shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical assembly and build of advanced equipment and sub‑assemblies
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Mechanical fitting, assembly, and integration of precision components
- Supporting testing and fault diagnosis activities when required
- Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and productivity
- Working closely with engineering and production teams to achieve build targets
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality procedures
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in mechanical assembly, fitting, production, or manufacturing environments
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and engineering documentation
- Hands‑on experience with precision mechanical assembly or electro‑mechanical systems desirable
- Strong attention to detail and quality‑focused approach
- Good practical problem‑solving skills and a positive team attitude
- Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern
- Relevant mechanical qualification advantageous (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent)
