We are looking for a supportive and energetic Personal Assistant (PA) to spend time with Miley, a bright, fun-loving 10-year-old girl who enjoys getting out and about. Miley has additional needs and requires a PA who can provide consistent supervision, encouragement, and a calm presence in both social and home settings. About the Role: Your role will involve taking Miley to fun and engaging activities such as swimming, the park, shopping, or trampoline parks. You may also be asked to support her at home, allowing the family to attend to other responsibilities. Miley is fully verbal, very active, and full of character, but she can be shy in new situations, so a warm and encouraging approach is important. Key Tasks: Outings to local activities and venues Supervision and engagement at home Supporting Miley to take her ADHD medication when required (she is cooperative with this) Promoting confidence and helping her navigate social situations Requirements: Experience working with children with additional needs is essential Ideally a driver with access to a car, but we welcome applicants who can use local public transport A kind, patient, and proactive approach Comfortable with friendly pets (there is a small, non-shedding cockapoo at home) Availability: Fridays after school Some weekend hours (Saturday or Sunday) – flexible Additional support during school holidays, with flexibility on days and times If you're looking for a rewarding part-time role supporting a lively and lovely young person, we’d love to hear from you!
