RCB Design & Build | A2Z Principal Contractor is an established London-based Design & Build company specialising in residential and commercial projects — from concept, planning and Building Regulations through to construction and completion.
We are expanding and seeking a skilled Architect with strong UK Building Regulation expertise to work directly alongside the CEO on current and upcoming projects.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you will:
* Work closely with the CEO on active design & build projects
* Prepare full architectural drawing packs (2D & 3D)
* Produce Building Regulation & compliance drawings
* Coordinate revisions and technical adjustments quickly and accurately
* Attend client meetings and site visits as required
The ideal candidate is confident, detail-driven, highly organised, and enjoys being a key technical decision-maker within a project.
Key Requirements
* Minimum 3 years UK architecture experience (essential)
* Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations & British Standards
* Ability to produce full architectural drawing sets including:
* Plans, elevations, sections
* 3D visuals (SketchUp, Revit, or similar preferred)
* Building Regulation compliance packages
* Excellent communication skills with ability to speak directly with clients
* Must be located within 30 minutes of Dartford, Kent
* Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp (3D rendering desirable)
