Reporting directly to senior management, this role offers the chance to be central to their ongoing commitment to safety and operational success.
About you
* You hold a recognised health and safety qualification, such as NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
* You possess previous experience in a Health & Safety role within a construction or similar environment
* You have strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices
* You excel in communication and stakeholder engagement
* You demonstrate excellent organisational skills with great attention to detail
* You are proactive, solutions-oriented, and committed to fostering a positive safety culture
* Membership of IOSH or working towards it is desirable
What you\'ll do
* Support the implementation and continuous review of health and safety policies and procedures
* Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and hazard management
* Investigate workplace incidents and near misses, producing comprehensive reports and preventative measures
* Lead or coordinate safety training sessions to raise awareness across teams
* Assist in internal safety audits, compliance reporting, and management reviews
* Help develop emergency response plans, execute safety drills, and manage fire safety protocols
