About the Role
Academic Appointments are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 2 Teacher to work mornings only, delivering high-quality teaching to pupils in Years 4 & 5. This role is ideal for a skilled practitioner who is passionate about KS2 learning but seeking a part-time position with a strong work–life balance.
You will join a supportive, friendly school team, working collaboratively to ensure every child is engaged, challenged, and thriving.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive morning lessons across the KS2 curriculum

Assess and track pupil progress, providing clear feedback and supporting individual needs
*
Establish a positive and stimulating classroom environment
*
Work closely with year group colleagues and teaching assistants
*
Contribute to planning meetings and curriculum development (proportionate to part-time hours)
*
Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2
*
Bring energy, creativity, and high expectations to teaching and learning
*
Be organised, reflective, and committed to raising standards
*
Work effectively as part of a collaborative, supportive team
*
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
