We are seeking an experienced and reliable Plumber to join our team on a permanent basis at the Liverpool Royal Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day plumbing repairs, maintenance, and minor installation works across the hospital site, ensuring that all plumbing and sanitaryware systems remain in safe and efficient working order.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake day-to-day plumbing repairs and maintenance on various sanitaryware, pipework, and plumbing systems.
* Diagnose and rectify plumbing faults efficiently and in line with health and safety standards.
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks as directed by the Key Account Manager.
* Support the wider maintenance team with plumbing expertise when required.
* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of works completed and materials used.
* Respond promptly to urgent repair requests to minimise disruption to hospital operations.
Requirements
* NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plumbing & Heating.
* Demonstrable experience in plumbing maintenance and repair, ideally within a commercial, healthcare, or facilities management environment.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of current plumbing regulations and standards.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* A proactive and flexible approach to work.
