We’re looking for a Pre-Sales Consultant to join our growing Commercial team and help financial services firms successfully trial and adopt Aveni’s AI platform.


This is a client-facing, hands-on role that sits at the intersection of Sales, Product and Customer Success. You’ll work directly with prospects and customers during pilots and early implementations, helping them configure the platform, translate their advice processes into scalable AI workflows, and ensure they realise value quickly.


This role would suit someone with strong financial advice industry experience (such as a paraplanner) who enjoys working with technology and wants to play a key role in bringing AI solutions to market.


The Role


As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you will support the successful rollout of Aveni Assist and Aveni Detect during pilot engagements and early-stage implementations.


You’ll work closely with Account Executives and customers to configure the platform, support pilot users, and ensure the product aligns with each firm’s advice processes, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.


This role requires strong domain knowledge in financial advice processes, suitability reports, and FCA-regulated environments, alongside excellent communication skills and an interest in emerging AI technology.


What You’ll Be Doing


* Partner with the Sales team during pre-sales engagements, pilots and trials to support successful client onboarding.
* Configure and customise Aveni’s platform to meet client-specific advice documentation and compliance requirements.
* Build and refine AI-driven document templates aligned to firms’ suitability report structures and internal standards.
* Support onboarding and training for Aveni Assist pilot users.
* Work with clients to understand their quality assurance frameworks and advice review processes.
* Define and configure QA questions, scoring criteria, evidence requirements and edge cases within the platform.
* Gather and analyse pilot metrics, usage data and insights for internal reviews and client presentations.
* Support the Sales leadership team with pilot reporting and outcomes.
* Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering teams based on real-world client usage.


What We’re Looking For


Required Experience

* Experience working in a client-facing role within SaaS or software environments.
* Previous experience as a Paraplanner (or similar role) within a financial planning or wealth management firm.
* Strong understanding of:
* Suitability reports
* Advice documentation and workflows
* Adviser-client interactions
* CRM systems used in financial advice
* FCA-regulated environments.


Desired Experience

* Exposure to a startup or scale-up environment.
* Experience working with AI tools or digital platforms.
* Experience supporting client onboarding, implementation or change management.
* Experience supporting product pilots, trials or early-stage rollouts.


Skills & Attributes


We’re looking for someone who combines industry expertise with strong client engagement skills.


You’ll ideally bring:

* The ability to quickly adapt to different firms’ processes and requirements.
* Exceptional organisation and the ability to manage multiple pilots and clients simultaneously.
* Confidence running client calls, demos and training sessions.
* Strong attention to detail, particularly around documentation, data accuracy and regulatory nuance.
* Commercial awareness and understanding of how customer success drives business growth.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, both in-person and online.
* Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where processes are still evolving.
* Familiarity with MEDDICC or value-based selling frameworks (desirable).
