The successful candidate will be responsible for the periodic inspection, testing, and certification of LV electrical installations, as well as supervising associated remedial works and planned maintenance activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring electrical safety, compliance, and operational continuity across the site. Package & Working HoursSalary: £46,000 per annumWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pmFlexibility Required: The role requires flexibility to work outside standard hours, including antisocial hours, to meet operational and testing requirementsHoliday Entitlement: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysPension: Standard company pension schemeAdditional Benefits: Subsidised on-site parking Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out Group 1 and Group 2 electrical inspection and testing on LV electrical installationsComplete remedial works identified during inspection and testing activitiesUndertake planned preventative maintenance and general electrical maintenance tasksPerform safety checks and electrical tests upon completion of maintenance works, ensuring all results are accurately documentedPotential to expand scope of works to include fixed wire testing and RCD testingLiaise with the Electrical Operations Manager regarding plant, system, or equipment failuresArrange and request the supply of materials, spares, and specialist services as requiredLiaise directly with suppliers and contractors, including collecting materials from supplier premises when necessarySupport the operational team to ensure full contract complianceEnsure strict adherence to all FS policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements Qualifications & Certifications EssentialRecognised time-served electrical apprenticeship in contracting or maintenanceLevel 3 Electrical Installations qualificationIET Wiring Regulations BS 7671:2018 A2:2022 18th EditionAM2 QualificationCity & Guilds 2391 or 2394 & 2395 – Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical InstallationsCSCS Safety Passport or equivalent health & safety cardInterested candidates should contact: Alex Denton – CBW Staffing Solutions
