New Directions Education is excited to support a Trafford secondary school in welcoming a Science Teacher from January 2026 through to the end of the academic year.
This is your chance to inspire curiosity and foster a love of science in students, delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 while supporting exam preparation and practical learning.
Science Teacher Role:
1. Plan and teach science lessons that motivate and challenge students of all abilities
2. Deliver practical experiments and activities to make learning hands-on and memorable
3. Track progress, provide feedback, and help students achieve their potential
4. Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and dynamic learning environment
5. Contribute to the wider life of the school through events, projects, and departmental initiatives
Who we’re looking for:
6. Qualified Teacher Status
7. Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
8. Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for bringing science to life
9. Confident classroom management and ability to engage students
10. Flexible, proactive, and keen to make a positive impact
