Job Title: Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Key Stage 2 teaching team to support the learning and development of our students. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners and contribute to their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of Key Stage 2 students.
2. Provide one-to-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance with their learning.
3. Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
4. Assist with the assessment of student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
5. Support students with special educational needs (SEN) or disabilities, implementing individualized support plans as required.
6. Assist with the preparation of learning resources and materials.
7. Supervise students during break times and off-site activities as needed.
Requirements:
8. Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar role, preferably within Key Stage 2.
9. Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare are desirable but not essential.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
11. A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse learning needs.
12. Flexibility and adaptability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
13. Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
