Staff Nurse - Pre-Assessment, Taunton Hospital | Bank | Part Time | Includes weekend work | Up to £20 per hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities
* Be part of a close‑knit team delivering matron‑led care in a consultant‑led service.
* As the first point of contact, work with professionals to make the right assessments for patients prior to their surgery.
* Demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure patient care.
* Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family.
* Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care.
* Build experience across new practices, equipment and facilities.
* Work with practitioners in other areas, understanding that continuity in patient care is key.
Qualifications
* Registered with the appropriate governing body (including NMC) and possess the qualifications and experience relevant to registration.
Experience
* Post‑registration experience and a passion for exceptional patient care.
