Financial Reporting Manager
Location: Quorum Business Park, Longbenton, NE12 8BU
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday 09:00-18:00 (early finish Fridays)
Hybrid - 2 days working from home

About the role
As our Reporting Manager, you’ll work with dedicated managers and team leaders who all share the same Verisure DNA, which includes commitment, trust and responsibility, passion, teamwork, and innovation.
The Reporting Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:
1. Manage a team of three reporting specialists and their duties.
2. Purchase requisitions approval and control
3. Collaborating with the procurement department to certify savings from cost cutting/saving initiatives.
4. Oversee the month end process to ensure a timely and accurate financial reporting.
5. Posting journals during the month end process, including accruals, revenue, and COGS.
6. Revenue & COGs reconciliation.
7. Build, consolidate, and analyse the commercial P&Ls for the company.
8. Perform cost variance analysis to explain cost deviations and changes in business trends.
9. Prepare, review, and promote the monthly & quarterly financial reporting package to Corporate.
10. Reporting of the main business and financial KPIs to support better decision-making within the company.
11. Business partnering with the main internal stakeholders to review their budgets, costs, performance, and goals. Continuous discussions with internal and external stakeholders to adapt and create new reports that better fit the business needs and their visibility on the different areas/departments.
12. Explore and deploy new and more automated ways of reporting to improve team efficiency.
13. Participate and lead the budgeting & forecasting process with the Finance Manager.

What are we looking for:
14. Proven commercial finance & reporting experience (at least 5 years)
15. Previous management experience (at least 2 years)
16. BA or MA in Finance
17. High level of Excel is a must (pivot tables, advanced formulation,
18. Strong analytical skills
19. Previous experience in a service-oriented company would be a plus.
20. Rigorous and organised.
21. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
22. Ability to work under pressure
23. Ability to be flexible.
