Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey as an Administration Lead at our state-of-the-art cancer care centre located in Windsor? Join our dedicated team at GenesisCare UK and be part of something extraordinary.
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday. Please note that this is an on-site role based at the centre.
The Role:
As an Administration Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in line management responsibilities for the centre administration team, providing a professional, accurate, and timely administration service. You will also undertake administrative duties alongside your management responsibilities. Articulating the goals, values, and behaviours of GenesisCare is essential.
You will be an enthusiastic, organised, and motivated individual capable of working with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally, including the centre leader, clinical teams, Consultants, and Heads of Service. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact and develop your career.
What You'll Do:
* Support patient referral pathways by working closely with consultants and secretaries
* Manage the administration team, including rotas, 121s, and performance reviews
* Understand all referral pathways within the centre
* Ensure smooth administrative functions within the centre
* Collaborate with the Patient Administration Lead UK to optimise referral pathways
* Participate in Operational Excellence reviews and lead continuous improvement initiatives
* Chair admin meetings and provide updates in staff meetings
* Support operational duties such as inspections and facilities management
* Manage patient feedback and complaints according to policy
* Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis on administrative issues
* Manage patient pathway-related administration costs
* Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with policies and legislation
* Ensure high levels of patient service
* Maintain accurate patient records
* Work respectfully with team members, ensuring clear communication
* Comply with partner hospital rules and policies
* Follow departmental protocols and operate in compliance with guidelines
* Complete mandatory training
* Occasionally work out of hours to resolve crises
* Adhere to standards of appearance, behaviour, and demeanour
* Work flexibly to meet business objectives
* Act as a trainer and mentor for new staff
* Perform any other duties appropriate for the role
