Overview
Fundraising Officer - Trusts & Foundations at Teach First. To build a fair education for all, we need to unlock the potential in all children – not just some. We’re looking for a Fundraising Officer to join the Trusts & Foundations and Philanthropy team to deliver ambitious annual income targets through winning new partnerships, excellent stewardship and reporting.
You will have a good understanding of trust and foundation fundraising, partnership management, development and stewardship and a passion for the Teach First mission. You will play a key role in maintaining, growing and retaining mid value trust and foundations partnerships to support our mission.
Responsibilities
• Deliver ambitious annual income targets through winning new partnerships, stewardship and reporting.
• Maintain, grow and retain mid value Trusts & Foundations partnerships to support Teach First’s mission.
• Manage donor records, track income, and deliver stewardship activities across multiple accounts and projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues across fundraising to deliver joined-up stewardship.
• Use CRM systems, email marketing tools, and basic data analysis to inform engagement strategies.
• Take ownership of tasks, suggest improvements, resolve issues independently, and ensure compliance with data protection policies and legal requirements including the Fundraising Code of Practice.
Qualifications / Essential requirements
* At least 1 year of experience working with Trusts & Foundations.
* Strong interpersonal skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build rapport and tailor messages to different audiences.
* Ability to accurately manage donor records, track income, and deliver stewardship across multiple accounts and projects.
* Experience working with colleagues across fundraising to deliver joined-up stewardship.
* Comfort with using CRM systems, email marketing tools, and basic data analysis to inform engagement strategies.
* Ability to take ownership of tasks, suggest improvements, and resolve issues independently while ensuring compliance with data protection policies and legal requirements.
