Main duties of the job
As part of a multi‑disciplinary team, you will work as an autonomous clinician, providing specialist assessment and treatment of occupational dysfunction. You will hold supervisory responsibility for others, and take a leadership role in specific projects. An integral part of this role will be supporting student education within the team.

Job responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide direct clinical care which will encompass person‑centred OT assessment and interventions, as well as work in an integrated way with the support team and wider multi‑disciplinary team. You will assess, implement and develop an OT treatment programme according to individual diagnoses and identified needs. You will also empower staff to improve the quality of care through training, modelling and coaching.

Role: Occupational Therapist - Band 6
Hours: 4 days a week, 32 hours
Location: Oakhurst Lodge, 137 Lyndhurst Road, Ashurst, Southampton, SO40 7AW
Salary range: FTE: £40,966 – £49,330 per year, dependent on experience. This equates to: £32,772 – £39,464 per year

Requirements
The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS and reference check and an offer of employment will be subject to successful clearance.
