We have an opportunity for a Multi-Trade Operative to join our team, covering different sites across the area. These works are predominantly in domestic properties and include carpentry, plumbing, installing doors/windows, plastering, tiling, fencing, and general maintenance. A company van and power tools will be provided to enable you to complete jobs to a high standard.
Role responsibilities include:
1. Carrying out construction, fault fixing, and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications.
2. Maintaining tools and equipment in good condition and restocking as needed.
3. Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns, resolving problems or initiating solutions, and keeping customers informed.
4. Providing accurate and timely updates on work progress in an understandable manner.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (e.g., carpentry, electrical). Plumbing Level 3, Unvented G3 Certificate, and Water Regulations (WRAS) are required if applicable.
* Original certification must be brought to the interview; copies and CSCS cards are not accepted.
* Awareness of health and safety regulations and legislation.
* Skills in disciplines such as plumbing, carpentry, joinery, kitchen and bathroom installations, UPVC door and window fitting.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to prioritize workloads, meet deadlines, and plan ahead.
* Valid UK driving license for driving company vehicles.
