About The Role
As a Mower Operator, you'll play a key role in keeping Nelson's parks, reserves, and high-profile spaces looking their best. Your daily work will involve:
* Operating ride-on mowers to maintain sports fields and green spaces
* Weed eating, edging, and push mowing for those finer finishing touches
* Performing basic maintenance to keep equipment in top condition
* Meeting client expectations with a high standard of presentation and care
What You'll Bring
* Experience operating ride-on mowers and small plant equipment
* A full, current driver's licence (manual required; Class 2 a bonus)
* Good level of physical fitness – this role doesn't just require you to sit on your mower
* Basic technology skills would be beneficial
* A strong commitment to health and safety, and a positive, can-do attitude
* A willingness to learn, grow, and be a valuable part of the team
