Position Overview: As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products and services to clients within the marine industry, with a focus on ship owners or managers. This role requires a proactive approach to business development, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Actively promote products and services to assigned accounts across the UK
* Prepare and manage proposals for products and equipment, ensuring a smooth bid process
* Manage accounts professionally, providing excellent service and addressing inquiries promptly
* Meet annual sales targets and identify opportunities for growth within the territory
* Prepare detailed account analysis and maintain accurate records of client interactions
* Collaborate with internal teams to provide necessary support to sales and service efforts
* Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market activities
* Utilize CRM system for efficient organization and communication
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Marine, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
* Sales experience in the maritime industry, preferably in fuels, lubes, or coatings
* Strong organizational and analytical skills
* Proficiency in software systems and computer usage
* Valid driver’s license required
