Location: Barnsley
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and innovative Design and Technology (DT) Teacher to join a supportive and progressive school environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys inspiring students through practical learning and developing their creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities of a Design and Technology Teacher:
* Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages.
* Teach a range of DT disciplines, such as product design, resistant materials, or graphics.
* Encourage students to develop practical skills, creativity, and innovation.
* Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging workshop/classroom environment.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Design and Technology curriculum and resources.
Requirements for a Design and Technology Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary level.
* Strong subject knowledge across DT disciplines.
* Excellent classroom and workshop management skills.
* A passion for practical education and student development.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
