The Motor team is continuing to grow and is seeking experienced Paralegals and Litigation Executives to join the Salford Media City office as part of an expanding insurance litigation practice.
This is an opportunity to join a fast paced and supportive department handling a varied litigated caseload of motor claims involving liability and vehicle damage disputes.

This is a Hybrid Role
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a litigated caseload of small claims motor matters involving liability and vehicle damage claims
* Handle defendant litigation matters from instruction through to resolution
* Draft legal documents including applications, offers, orders, and directions
* Manage cases in line with service level agreements and client requirements
* Review quantum and value general and special damages
* Prepare case plans and progress files proactively
* Conduct telephone negotiations with third party solicitors, insurers, and clients
* Liaise with insurers, lay clients, and external parties throughout the claims process
* Attend telephone conferences and assist colleagues with case handling support where required
* Maintain accurate case management and file handling standards
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this Paralegal / Litigation Executive – Motor role, you will need:
* Experience handling litigated motor claims or insurance litigation matters
* Previous experience managing a defendant litigated caseload is highly desirable
* Knowledge of CPR and the SRA Code of Conduct
* Understanding of motor insurance and liability claims
* Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume environment
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Proactive and self motivated approach to workload management
* Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
* Ability to work collaboratively within a close knit legal team
* Commitment to delivering strong client outcomes and service standards
