We are looking for a Global HR Business Partner to join our AXA Partners HR Department.
The role entails a wide range of activities, notably leading our cultural shift for a strong collaboration in a balanced matrix structure, upskilling our organization, supporting organizational redesign, building leadership succession pipeline, accompanying leaders' personal development, managing a strong communication flow across the various communities of experts.
It also involves the roll out of HR cycles, such as engagement surveys, performance, reward, talent management and succession planning, as well as projects and initiatives aiming at optimizing our Employee Experience or strengthening efficiency and a streamlined organization.
What You'll Be Doing
Business Partnering
Partner the 2 global function Leadership teams of AXA Partners
Advise them in the strategic HR management of their scope: provide insights, share HR data and dashboards, raise points of attention, lead HR projects, translate change into communication actions, to best support the implementation of the Business strategy
Manage the link between the Executive teams and the Central HR and the local HR teams to ensure alignment and consistency of global and local People and Communication initiatives
Act as an ambassador of the functions in the HR community and suggest improvements to HR global processes to meet the needs and requirements of the business
Coach and support the leadership team in their development, both as individuals and as a team, and in the leadership of their teams (talent management, succession planning)
Manage all HR matters relating to the members of the Leadership teams
Strategic Change
Lead the implementation of AP People strategy via defining and implementing the relevant initiatives, considering governance, regulatory requirements, partners and customers' needs, localisation and the matrix structure
Ensure global strategic alignment through regular engagement with Business, central HR, and local HR teams and ensure relevant information and guidance is shared and understood to ensure a consistency of approach
Provide organizational insights, facilitate the decision process leading to new organizational designs and manage the people impact of change, ensuring the new organizational setup achieves a clear governance and supporting the redesign of a new target operating model, when relevant
Promote the mobility of workforce across the business to preserve expertise and foster AXA values
Provide input to Centers of Expertise to improve business relevance and efficiency of the HR global processes
Improve data accuracy by collaborating on a global data referential through improvement of a data tree structure, and liaise with central, regional and global HR teams to activate and coordinate implementation, leading to better alignment with financial data and improved strategic decision making to foster a culture change based on a data driven organization
Communication
Prepare organization and people communications actions for the 2 Heads of Functions
Define actions of communication in relevant channels, such as internal website (interviews, news, articles, podcasts) in collaboration with the internal communication team), notably to support the roll out of AP strategic Plan and People and Communication strategy
Ensure relevant HR information circulates across teams, Business Lines, and regions, to support consistency of decision making
Employee Engagement
Define specific reporting requirements for the employee engagement survey (PULSE)
Present and debrief results of engagement surveys with the Executive team
Write relevant communications on surveys' results and actions
Articulate Business Line global action plan on employee engagement in partnership with countries
Talent, Succession, Development and Diversity & Inclusion
Ensure talents and mission critical employees are identified, engaged, developed, rewarded and visible
Ensure the gender balance of the talent pool and succession plan through increased visibility and exposure
Recruitment
Ensure that recruitment decisions are strategic, necessary, and supported by a meaningful business case
Monitor the process to ensure required validations and lead the recruitment of central senior roles
Reward
Manage the performance and compensation process for the Senior Management Team and their direct reports
Ensure global consistency of approach, including a fair and relevant distribution of ratings and long-term incentives
Liaise with countries wherever a decision derives from multiple views and actions across the matrix organisation
What You'll Bring
Strong business acumen combined with a deep and broad HR knowledge
Ability to operate as a trusted partner with business leaders, to bring strategic insights, coach and support
Ability to create a vision, develop solutions and influence the business
Excellent relationship, interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate with and influence a wide variety of experts across multiple cultures
Highly adaptable, at ease in a fast-changing environment and able to deliver results through a significant level of ambiguity
Comfortable working in a matrix environment and able to deliver results through others
Understanding of market trends (technical innovation, organization design, skills, future of work practices) to inform internal HR practices
Ability to design efficient organizational structures to drive business performance and change to deliver business results
Strong ability to analyze and use HR data, KPI and insights to identify business and workforce challenges and opportunities to support and facilitate decision making
Ability to design and lead a transformation project
Experience working internationally in a global role in a balanced matrix organizational structure
Excellent communication skills, with an ability to launch and coordinate communication actions and engage communities of experts
Fluent in English
Preferably a Post Graduate degree in business management with a focus in HR/Industrial Relations/Organization Behavior
