About Us
Glebe is a vibrant and welcoming school that is at the heart of our local community. We are proud to be a school where every child feels happy, safe, and excited to learn. We have a fantastic team of teachers and support staff who work hard to make sure all of our students receive the best education and grow into confident, kind, and responsible individuals.
At Glebe, we believe in creating a caring environment where everyone is treated with respect. Our students are kind to each other, they work hard, and they love coming to school each day. Our lessons are calm and focused, and our students enjoy a wide range of activities that help them grow both inside and outside the classroom.
We are looking for a talented part-time temporary teaching assistant who shares our values of hard work, kindness, respect, and fairness. If you join our team, you will be part of a school where students are eager to learn, and teachers and all staff are passionate about making a difference. The post is for four days a week 8.30am to 3.00pm. We would prefer Monday/Tuesday/ Thursday/Friday as the working days but would consider a slight change of the non-working day if there is a good reason.
We are seeking a skilled and suitably qualified teaching assistant who will be working 1:1 and with small groups primarily across EYFS, KS1 and Y3. We are willing to view applications from those with little experience if they have the basic qualifications outlined or further and higher education qualifications. Maths and English pass grades at GCSE level are a basic expectation for all support staff appointed at our school. The post is temporary due to budgetary uncertainty in the future.
As part of our commitment to staff, we offer excellent training, support, and professional development. Colleagues at Glebe enjoy great benefits, including opportunities for career growth, and a positive, supportive working environment
Our school is part of United Learning, which means our staff benefit from the best pay in the sector, with training days for teaching assistants and guaranteed paid personal days, great training for your career, and more.
If you are aligned with our mission and values, we very much look forward to hearing from you. If you have any questions regarding these roles, please contact the school office, who will direct you to the right person ).
