This role is for one of the water services consultancies, they are currently looking for an experienced Urban Drainage Modellers - Assistant to Principal to join their growing team on a permanent basis to support the delivery of numerous projects all across the UK and internationally. This role is located in Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Glasgow, Leeds and Manchester. Due to continued growth in the workload of their successful Water business, they are seeking to recruit Urban Drainage Modellers across the UK offices. The successful candidates will join a team of engineers, modellers, geographers, GIS specialists and technicians and play a key role in delivering to a range of Clients including Water Companies, Local Authorities, developers with the potential to get involved with International projects. Some of the main responsibilities for this role will include: - Development of computer models to investigate flooding and environmental problems and generation of outline solutions - Analysis of data - Support development of reports and other project deliverables - Undertake site surveys and walkovers - Prepare (and adhere to) health and safety risk assessments
Requirements
- BSc/BEng/MEng degree level: geography, GIS, Science, engineering related subject or equivalent considered with appropriate professional qualifications at the senior levels - Technician roles require HNC, HND level qualification in similar subjects.
