Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Smart Infrastructure team at Computacenter on a permanent basis. In this role, you’ll lead projects focused on structured cabling, with a strong emphasis on Data Centre infrastructure and related technology initiatives across the UK and internationally when required.

What You’ll Do
* Deliver customer projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
* Support Bid teams in identifying new business opportunities and preparing competitive tenders, including design, procurement, resourcing, and methodology.
* Maximise contract value through scope expansion and variation orders.
* Ensure all projects comply with company and customer processes, procedures, and legal obligations—taking full ownership of project quality.
* Apply and evolve project practices to align with industry best practices.
* Provide professional project planning and lifecycle management.
* Deliver timely and accurate reporting to both internal stakeholders and customers.
* Uphold Health & Safety standards for all employees and third parties, in line with legal and company requirements.
* Line manage project-assigned employees, ensuring alignment with company policy and best practices.
* Represent Computacenter professionally at all times, safeguarding our reputation and assets.
* Participate in training and development to gain essential accreditations and qualifications.
* Propose and champion innovations and process improvements across the business.
What You’ll Need
* Proven experience delivering SME standalone projects and network transformation programmes.
* Minimum of 3 years’ project management experience in the structured cabling industry.
* Strong understanding of project controls including initiation, planning, change and risk management.
* Experience managing project engineering teams.
* CTPM qualification or equivalent.
* Familiarity with industry-standard testing tools and procedures.
* Willingness to travel, including internationally, as required.
* Excellent technical knowledge of structured cabling design and technologies.
* Commercial acumen with experience owning project financials.
* Strong leadership presence and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to influence stakeholders and drive successful outcomes.
* Self-starter with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
