Inside Sales Representative - Precision & Trade Division Location: Crick, Northamptonshire Hours: 37.5 hours per week - 8:30am - 5pm Monday - Friday Sector: Manufacturing / Industrial We are working with a leading manufacturing company who are looking to appoint an Inside Sales Representative to join their Precision & Trade division. This role is focused on generating new sales and business opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound calls, and email communications, while supporting the broader Sales team to maximize conversion and growth. The successful candidate will work closely with Divisional Managers and field-based Sales Representatives to develop existing customers, engage new customers generated via digital initiatives, and qualify leads for further development. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive sales professional to grow within a supportive and ambitious team. Key Responsibilities Source new sales opportunities via inbound lead follow-up, outbound calls, and emails Develop relationships with existing customers and newly acquired customers Qualify and hand over new business opportunities to external Sales Representatives for closure Update CRM promptly with all activity and prepare status/activity reports Work closely with external Sales Teams to maximize joint business opportunities Provide technical information and advice to customers as required Monitor competitor activity and report to Divisional Managers Fully understand and implement the company's sales strategy, including market pricing and brands Participate in sales meetings, exhibitions, and occasional customer visits Requirements Proven sales experience (minimum 2 years) or similar role Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to build relationships at all levels Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience working with CRM tools; SAP knowledge is an advantage Ability to understand technical operations is beneficial Self-motivated, disciplined, and results-driven Key Skills Effective influencing, communication, and negotiation Strong phone presence and active listening skills Ability to organise work, multitask, and manage time effectively Professional, accountable, and trustworthy Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and customers Ability to work under pressure and deliver results INDASH25
