We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who is ready to inspire students and foster a love for English language and literature.
This position will be based in Cairo, Egypt. We are prioritizing candidates who have international experience in the British curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners and align with the British curriculum.
* Utilize various instructional strategies and resources to promote student understanding and interest in English subjects.
* Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
* Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the learning experience through interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
* Encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities related to language and literature, such as speech contests and book clubs.
* Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding students’ academic performance and development.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practices and stay current with educational trends.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
* Experience teaching English at the Secondary level is essential.
* At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably within the framework of the British curriculum.
* Strong understanding of English language and literature with the ability to engage and motivate students.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Acreative and adaptable teaching approach that caters to various learning styles.
* Commitment to professional growth and active participation in school activities.
* PGCE certificate is an advantage.
