Location: Northampton
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 18:00 | Friday, 07:30 - 16:00
Salary: £37,000
Contract: Permanent
Duties:
* Set up, prepare, and operate CNC machinery for drilling, milling, and grinding.
* Load and prepare raw materials onto machines in accordance with job specifications.
* Record material usage and time spent on each job accurately.
* Carry out daily checks and routine maintenance on CNC equipment.
* Collaborate with the engineering and production teams on machine modifications.
* Support prototype and R&D projects by assisting with development parts.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times.
The ideal candidate must:
* Have a minimum of 3 years' CNC and manual machining experience.
* Be confident working to mechanical drawings and tight tolerances.
* Possess strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
* Be detail-oriented with a practical, hands-on approach.
* Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a commitment to quality.
