Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef/Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
* Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards and regulations.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
* Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.
* Create new menu items or specials that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food safety practices.
* Serve meals in an appealing manner, ensuring presentation meets the restaurant's standards.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment.
* Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
* Food hygiene certificate required.
* Ability to create fusion food.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for hygiene in the kitchen.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
* Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 48 per week
