Role Overview
They are seeking an Event Manager to join their growing operations team. This hands-on position offers the chance to manage events end-to-end, from client liaison and planning through to on-site delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring each event reflects the company’s reputation for detail, creativity and flawless service.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage corporate and private events from enquiry through to completion, ensuring all aspects are delivered to the highest standard.
* Carry out venue visits, prepare event plans, schedules and logistical requirements.
* Coordinate staffing, suppliers, equipment and transport, ensuring everything is in place and on time.
* Act as main client contact in the run-up to the event and on the day itself.
* Oversee on-site event delivery: setup, service, guest experience and breakdown.
* Ensure all events are compliant with Health & Safety, food safety and venue regulations.
* Support post-event debriefs, feedback processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in event or catering management (1+ years).
* Strong organisational and logistical planning skills.
* Excellent client-facing communication and relationship-building ability.
* Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills.
* Passion for food, sustainability and delivering memorable client experiences.
* Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
