Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Plant Manager to oversee and optimize our Cable Granulation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production and maximum utilization of the plant while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of Cable Granulation process and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties
* Oversee daily operations of the cable granulation plant, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and effectively.
* Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
* Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
* Develop and execute production schedules, monitoring workflow to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with other departments such as Commercial and Maintenance to ensure seamless operations.
* Analyse production data to identify trends, implement corrective actions, and enhance productivity.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies regarding quality control and environmental standards.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar managerial role within a processing and manufacturing environment where.
* Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance improvements.
* Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics.
* Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement methodologies.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organisation.
