We are recruiting for Lead Business Analyst to join our continually growing Finance, Resourcing and Transformation Service area. Our brand-new offices are based at the i9 building in Wolverhampton and are an excellent location for transport links by car, bus, train and tram.
What the day will look like
Responsibilities include:
* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Analysts, including recent graduates.
* Assess and allocate tasks and projects to the team based on skills, capacity, and project requirements.
* Lead complex business analysis activities across multiple projects and cross-functional areas.
* Work collaboratively with stakeholders to define business requirements, objectives, and scope.
* Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
* Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations, utilising strong communication skills to gather requirements, resolve conflicts, and communicate project progress to diverse audiences.
About you
You will be an experienced Business Analyst with proven leadership skills, able to mentor and develop a team while delivering high‑quality analysis across complex projects. With a solid understanding of business analysis methodologies such as Agile and SDLC, you will be confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels and translating business needs into clear, actionable solutions. Highly organised and detail‑focused, you will bring strong communication, problem‑solving and influencing skills, ensuring successful outcomes that support the Fund’s objectives.
