The Financial Controller will be responsible for the integrity of the accounts operations and provide the management with timely financial analysis for effective decision making. Work alongside the Cluster General Manager and the Hotel General Manager's to deliver commercial business objectives and financial targets through effective leadership and development of the finance hotel teams.
Key responsibilities
Co-ordinate and involved with the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts and monthly P&L.
Review monthly financial statements and analyse variances between actuals and budget for all revenues, expenditures, and payroll.
Implement policies, guidelines, internal controls, and safeguards that ensure profitability and efficiency is maximized, and legal requirements are meet.
Manage month end process including consolidated management reporting, variance analysis, cashflow, business KPIs and commentary to senior management.
Support the credit control function, ensure the timely chasing debtors for payments, purchase ledger and banking
Audit the operational outlets stock on regular basis and prepare the month end reports for stock take.
Personal qualities
Previous experience gained in a branded hotel or hospitality environment ideally within in a leadership role.
Financial qualification.
Good oral and written communication skills with the confidence and ability to engage and influence colleagues across the organisation.
Strong organisation and planning skills and the ability to prioritise appropriately
Strong IT and systems skills
