Teaching Fellow – Paediatrics
Specialist trainees in paediatrics (ST3 equivalent and above) are invited to apply for a 12‑month Teaching Fellow appointment commencing in September 2026.
Responsibilities include:
* Teach and coordinate undergraduate paediatric students to achieve their learning objectives.
* Allocate 50% of time to clinical duties, including a 0.5 WTE contribution to the Medical On Call Rota at middle‑grade level.
* Engage in out‑of‑hours clinical work.
* Maintain close liaison with the Undergraduate Coordinator in the Trust.
Locations
* Countess of Chester Hospital – 473 general and acute beds.
* Ellesmere Port Hospital – 60 beds for rehabilitation, intermediate and outpatient services.
* Tarporley War Memorial Hospital – community base serving the local rural population.
