The Head Chef of this 4* corporate hotel is seeking a Junior Sous Chef with previous experience, who can strongly support the team in the kitchen. This busy hotel, situated in Nottingham, offers a la carte dining in the restaurant, lighter bites in the terrace bar and lounge, and is also a popular venue for conferences and events catering for over 800 guests across 16 meeting rooms. The hotel prides itself on providing good quality, seasonally changing fresh food prepared and cooked to high standards. You will be working with a large brigade of chefs, so good leadership skills are also required. This is an exciting role for a junior sous chef who wants to work with an experienced, hands-on, forward-thinking Head Chef.
Requirements:
This role would suit a Junior Sous Chef with a minimum of 3 years experience in a corporate hotel, seeking a new challenge in their career. It is important that all applicants have good all-round cooking skills gained from hotel kitchens. Experience serving various dining options, being standards-driven, hands-on, and capable of maintaining a strong team are essential.
