Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Field Care Supervisor to join our team in Sheffield, United Kingdom. As a Field Care Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services to our clients in their homes.
1. Oversee and support a team of care workers, ensuring they provide excellent care to service users
2. Conduct regular home visits to assess the quality of care and identify areas for improvement
3. Develop and maintain care plans, ensuring they meet individual needs and comply with care standards
4. Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to coordinate care services
5. Manage staff rotas, ensuring appropriate coverage and efficient resource allocation
6. Provide on-call support and respond to emergencies as needed
7. Conduct staff supervisions and appraisals, identifying training needs and supporting professional development
8. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures
9. Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation in a timely manner
10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of care services and organisational processes
Qualifications
11. Relevant qualifications in health and social care, such as NVQ Level 3 or above
12. Proven experience in care supervision or management within a domiciliary care setting
13. Strong knowledge of care standards, regulations, and best practices in the field
14. Excellent leadership and people skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team
15. Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
16. Proficiency in care planning and assessment
17. Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
18. Excellent organisational and time management skills
19. Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required
20. Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
21. Compassionate and empathetic approach to care delivery
22. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with industry trends
