Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Shift Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, managing food production, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations.
* Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
* Train and mentor team members
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pub and dining areas.
* Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
* Collaborate with management to implement new menu items and promotional activities.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the establishment.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
* Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen operations.
* Previous experience in customer service.
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
* A background in hotel or catering services is desirable but not essential.
