Overview
As a Work Area Manager, you will work in a busy mail centre, responsible for managing operations in a specified area.
Shift Patterns
41 hours per week covering the night shift; hours to be discussed at interview.
Responsibilities
* Lead a dedicated team of full‑ and part‑time employees, hold regular one‑to‑one and team meetings, review performance and plans daily.
* Champion health and safety initiatives, increase efficiency, identify areas of improvement.
* Support the Shift Manager, provide a high quality of service to our customers and ensure all operational targets are met.
* Manage the team’s sick absence, attendance, training and development, and participate in continuous improvement programmes.

Salary and Benefits
* Night Shift Salary: £36,353 – £39,353 (dependent on experience).
* Night Shift allowance: £906.12 per month pro rata.
* Bonus potential: 10%.
* Annual leave: 25 days.
* Generous pension scheme.
