We are currently seeking a confident and motivated Cover Supervisor to work at a successful secondary academy located in Enfield. This long-term agency role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people and is looking to gain hands-on classroom experience in a supportive school environment.
The academy is well-regarded within the local community for its strong pastoral care, high aspirations, and commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment. You’ll be working with a friendly team and supporting students across a range of subjects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
2. Maintaining positive behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged
3. Supervising classroom activities and supporting learning where needed
4. Following school policies and behaviour expectations
5. Assisting with general school duties when not covering lessons
What We’re Looking For
6. Experience working with young people (school setting, tutoring, mentoring or youth work)
7. Strong communication and behaviour management skills
8. Confident classroom presence
9. Flexible, proactive and reliable approach
10. Passion for education and supporting student progress
11. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
