Role Overview:
We are seeking skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapists to join our dynamic assessment team. This role is ideal for a clinician with a strong background in both Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) assessments, using gold-standard diagnostic tools.
Clinicians are supported by a dedicated in-house team, including case handlers and administrative support, as well as ongoing clinical supervision and guidance from our two Clinical Directors. This structure enables our team to focus on delivering gold-standard assessments with the confidence that operational and clinical support is always available.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver comprehensive assessments for Autism and/or ADHD
* Use standardised diagnostic tools including ADOS, ADI-R, ACE(+) or (Young) DIVA-5, and QB Check
* Interpret assessment findings and contribute to diagnostic decision-making
* Produce high-quality clinical reports
* Engage with clients and families in a compassionate and professional manner
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
* Minimum of five years post-qualification clinical experience
* At least 2 years’ experience using all or a following assessment tools:
* ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule)
* ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised)
* ACE (+)
* QB Check (including result interpretation and scoring)
* Demonstrated expertise in Autism and/or ADHD diagnostic assessments
* Excellent report writing and diagnostic formulation skills
* Experience working in both NHS and/or independent diagnostic services
* Strong understanding of neurodevelopmental and co-occurring mental health conditions
* Experience conducting both ADHD/ASD and combined assessments using the above assessment tools across a wide age group would be advantageous
