The Orchestration and Data Movement Service Systems Analyst is responsible for ensuring the efficient and seamless movement of data across systems, applications, and environments, with a focus on orchestration. This role plays a key part in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated workflows that facilitate data integration, processing, and delivery. The Analyst will ensure that data movement processes are efficient, secure, and compliant with organisational standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise data flows and support data-driven decision-making. What we'd like to see from you: 3–5 years of experience in data integration, orchestration, or automation roles Solid experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica Cloud). Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and related data movement technologies, including AWS Lambda and Azure Functions. Strong knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and data transformation. Proficient in working with databases, data warehouses, and data lakes (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Redshift). Familiarity with APIs and web services for integrating external systems and applications into orchestration workflows. Hands-on experience with data transformation and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and security principles. What you'll be doing: Orchestration and Workflow Management Design, implement, and manage end-to-end data orchestration workflows that automate data movement across systems and applications. Develop and maintain automated pipelines for data integration, transformation, and delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data transfer. Optimise and scale orchestration systems to handle large volumes of data and complex workflows. Monitor and troubleshoot orchestration workflows, ensuring data flows are uninterrupted, efficient, and error-free. Continuously assess orchestration technologies and methods to improve performance and reliability. Data Movement and Integration Oversee data movement processes across diverse platforms, such as cloud-based services, on-premises systems, databases, and third-party applications. Develop and manage ETL/ELT workflows using tools like Python, SQL, Azure Data Factory, or similar technologies to process large-scale data efficiently. Ensure that data integration and movement solutions adhere to business requirements, security protocols, and compliance standards. Develop and implement data transformation procedures to ensure data consistency, integrity, and accuracy. Implement strategies for data synchronisation between systems and ensure that data is updated and available across environments in real-time or batch.
