Health and Safety Advisor
Salary: £40,000–£42,000 + 20 days holiday + bank holidays + pension
Hours: 08:00–16:00 (flexible start/finish, occasional weekend with time off in lieu)
Join a well-established food producer supplying top retailers! We’re looking for a proactive Health and Safety Coordinator to maintain ISO 45001 compliance and keep our workplace safe and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day health and safety operations across the site.
* Conduct equipment & system checks (FLT, ovens, lifts, LEV, fire alarms, refrigeration, etc.)
* Deliver staff training: induction, COSHH, PPE, e-learning.
* Oversee Legionella management and general safety audits.
* Support risk assessments, accident investigations, contractor permits, and compliance administration.
* Keep up to date with HSE legislation.
Skills & Experience:
* NEBOSH certificate or equivalent
* Experience in a similar role is essential the same Industry is not essential.
* Current training: First Aid, Fire Marshall, IPAF, Food Safety
* Strong organizational and prioritization skills
