Ocean Freight Specialist Customer Service Paying between £35,000 and £38,000 per year, depending on experience. Monday to Friday, 9am 5:30pm. Based in Nuneaton - Hybrid Working. We are working with a leading Freight Forwarding and Logistics organisation who are seeking to recruit an experienced Ocean Freight Specialist to sit within their Customer Service team. This role requires a customer-orientated individual, with strong experience in Ocean Freight operations. The successful candidate will be required to handle Ocean Freight shipments for FCLs and LCLs. Duties & Responsibilities of the Ocean Freight Specialist: Responding to customer enquiries. Quoting customers and making bookings. Liaising with shipping lines. Arranging collections and deliveries. Managing customer expectations. Resolving any issues and answering queries. Participating in customer meetings and regular customer reviews. Monitoring profit post-shipment across all transport modes. Supporting the onboarding of new accounts. This position requires an individual with a customer-focussed mindset, who has excellent knowledge of Ocean Freight operations. We are seeking an individual who has previous experience in handling Ocean Freight shipments.
