An independent boarding school for boys aged 13 to 18 ICT Technician Permanent, Full time: 40 hours per week, Monday Friday 9am 5pm with out of hours on call flexibility as required. The role: The IT Technician will assist in operating the IT Service Desk; identifying, resolving and documenting issues as they arise. You will be responsible for delivering friendly user support for students and staff, including first and second line support for IT hardware, correcting software and network issues, and preparing devices for new users. The skills: This role will suit someone who wants to work in an environment that is different from the usual large office building. You will have experience in a similar role, priding yourself on your strong helpdesk experience and excellent customer relationship skills. You will enjoy using your problem-solving skills to see issues through to completion and champion the constant improvement of the departments expertise and effectiveness.
