We're excited to be recruiting a Tenancy Officer in Merseyside on behalf of a social housing provider, on an ongoing, temporary basis. This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week with hourly rates between £18 - £21 per hour.
Key responsibilities:
1. Working alongside Neighbourhood Officers to support with resolving a range of tenancy management-related requests such as mutual exchange requests, tenancy changes such as name changes & additions to households and processing tenancy assignments, obtaining appropriate documentation
2. Carrying out sensitive calls for succession claims following the death of a tenant to determine the tenancy effectively
3. Triaging and managing initialplaints generated via email or thepany website
4. Dealing with garage lettings
5. Working with customers and Neighbourhood Officers to deal with tenant permission requests andmunicating oues in writing to customers
What you'll need to succeed
6. Experience of working within a housing/property management role with an understanding of various tenancy agreements, lettings processes, mutual exchanges, successions and garage lettings
7. Ability to show empathy and sensitivity when discussing personal matters such as death of family members
8. Strongmunication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
9. Confident lone worker with the ability to manage a busy workload and conflicting priorities
