Role: Strategic Partnerships Sales Manager
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Location: UK, with regular travel to Leicester
About your role:
The Strategic Partnerships Sales Manager builds and maintains strategic relationships with Third Party Intermediaries (TPIs) for British Gas Business. You will collaborate with senior management to develop partnerships, implement strategies, and drive growth, customer retention, and operational efficiency.
You will negotiate commercial partnership agreements, drive energy and related service sales across Small and Mid-Market segments, and lead initiatives to exceed growth and retention targets. Aligning with our Broker Strategy, you will unlock revenue streams through BGB propositions and Centrica products, while identifying new growth opportunities. You will craft innovative solutions to enhance customer value and ensure sustained success.
Key Accountabilities:
* Develop relationships with internal teams, regulators, and relevant departments to influence clients.
* Engage with policy and legislation changes, informing consultations to support our position.
* Ensure compliance with BGB's TPI Management Framework and Centrica policies, including risk management and mandatory training.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience managing relationships with third-party intermediaries and commercial partners in the energy sector.
* Experience in leading B2B energy sales, ensuring ethical operations and regulatory compliance.
* Proven ability to develop strategies that deliver commercial value and customer growth across diverse B2B clients.
* Exceptional communication skills, with experience delivering impactful presentations to senior leaders.
