As a C++ Software Engineer, you will join the Real-Time Database team. You will be a part of the critical R&D team in Bristol that is maintaining, architecting, designing and implementing the heart of a Telecom Operators' Cloud and fixed HW ecosystem.

As a C++ Software Engineer, you will join the Real-Time Database team. You will be a part of the critical R&D team in Bristol that is maintaining, architecting, designing and implementing the heart of a Telecom Operators' Cloud and fixed HW ecosystem.
The One-NDS and SDL products, are respectively, the market leading Subscriber database, support over 4bn subscribers world-wide, and the next generation real-time Cloud Database solution. Both products are at the core of Nokia's 3G, 4G and 5G solutions.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
* Developing high-performance software in C++ for real-time telecom databases.
* Designing scalable, efficient solutions using OOP and Design Patterns.
* Working in a Linux/Unix environment with modern development tools.
* Solving complex technical challenges in inter-process & TCP/IP communication.
* Collaborating with expert engineers in an Agile, CI/CD-driven environment.
Key Skills And Experience
* Strong C++ programming and object-oriented design skills.
* Experience with software architectures and database applications.
* Knowledge of real-time computing and high-performance systems.
* Familiarity with Python, OpenStack, Kubernetes, or VMWare is a plus.
* Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Unix/Linux-based applications
