Reporting to the Head of Group Financial Operations, you'll oversee a high-performing team responsible for rent setting, data accuracy, legislative compliance and continuous improvement. You'll inspire and empower your team while shaping processes that directly impact lives across our communities. Your main base will be in Sittingbourne or Farringdon, with flexibility for hybrid working and travel to other offices for stakeholder engagement. What you'll be doing: Lead, motivate, and develop the Rent Team to deliver excellent service and meet performance targets. Conduct one-to-ones and personal development reviews, setting clear objectives and supporting staff growth. Foster a positive, energetic team culture through regular meetings and team-building activities. Manage the annual rent increase process, including preparation, calculation, and communication of rent review booklets across all tenures. What you'll need: Accounting qualification to AAT level or equivalent Excellent understanding of rent legislation, including Fair Rents and rent restructuring within UK Social housing. Strong people management experience, Proficiency in Excel (including complex modelling), Power BI, and Housing Enterprise systems Strong communication skills Strong analytical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
