Responsibilities
* The post holder will have operational management responsibility for Children's Neurodevelopment Teams and will ensure the provision of high-quality clinical services supporting individuals with access to assessments and appropriate treatment for ADHD and Autism.
* The post holder will ensure the coordination and development of the Team implementing and maintaining services within a defined resource and work collaboratively with external partners to ensure that mental and physical health needs are supported with parity and to ensure the service operates in a safe, effective and efficient way as part of the wider health and social care system.
* The post holder will provide clear visible operational and clinical leadership (in line with experience and qualifications), uphold and monitor the clinical standards of the service, provide managerial supervision to the team and support the Service Manager and Directorate Leads with the delivery of the service.
* There will be opportunities to support professional development and management support to your role will be provided by the service manager.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience of working at Band 6 or above.
* Effective communication skills; ability to represent the service in meetings, write reports, respond to complaints and interface with colleagues from a range of multi-disciplinary backgrounds.
* Passion to make a difference, highly motivated, and able to demonstrate excellent leadership skills.
* Access to transport and ability to travel within the required geographical area (across all localities of the Trust).
