JOB SUMMARY : The Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator/Advisor will be responsible for the maintenance of the HSE Management system and processes in compliance with ISO14001, ISO45001, Responsible for the Coordination and management of the of Accidents, Near misses and Environmental Issues. Identification of risk in HSE and subsequent mitigation. Participation of cross functional improvement initiatives incl Lean, QHSE, Documentation Digitalization. Responsible for identification and compliance to Legislation, Regulation in HS&E. Management, training and delivery of Risk assessments, Audits and HS&E Walks. Coordination of external bodies. Recording, Investigation and Mitigation of accidents and near misses. Organization of training records and schedules. Performing of inductions to new employees. Conducting and reporting of Audits, Safety walks and Drills Organization and effective management of H&S Meetings. Coordination with Third party bodies and inspections. Provide Technical Advice where required. Ensure compliance to ISO and regulatory Requirements. Management and organization of Health Surveillance program. Control of contractors permit to work. Reporting of KPI’ s and Presentation to Management team Environmental Support the Head of Quality and HSE in the maintenance of the Management system. Identification, Mitigation and Planning of risk assessments Recording, Investigation and Mitigation of Environmental Incidents. Conducting Audits and Inspections. Ensure compliance to ISO and regulatory Requirements. Review and Maintenance of Impacts and Aspects. Coordination of Improvement Initiatives. Ensuring Site plans are maintained Reporting of KPI’ s and Presentation to Management team EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : A Minimum of 5 years’ experience. A demonstrated track record of training personnel HS&E Awareness – Essential Experience in HSE for production manufacturing – Essential. Displays the need for thoroughness and attention to detail - Essential Welding and Fabrication background desirable – Desired. Strong computer skills required - Essential LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS : NEBOSH Certificate/ Diploma - Essential COMPETENCIES Skills/ Abilities Management Systems qualifications/experience –ISO14001, ISO45001. Trained Internal Auditor certification. In-depth understanding of technical documentation. Familiarity with statistical analysis. Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Team player. Good analytical skills. Able to identify and resolve problems using a structured and data driven approach Root Cause and Corrective Action practitioner. PC literate - capable user of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. Personal Characteristics: Excellent communicator, collaborator, and coordinator. High level reporting and data interrogation capabilities. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple projects/objectives effectively. Strong organization, planning, and action plan execution capabilities. Ability to motivate, drive collaboration and facilitate CI teams and activities.
