Job Description: Sales Representative
£35,000 sales incentives hybrid car
* In this field sales role you will be tasked with restoring a valuable area to being the company’s top sales territory. Key responsibilities include:
* Calling on garden centres to increase the sell-in and sell-through of company products.
* Inheriting an established call file but planning time to prospect for new business
* Supporting customers with in-store training, merchandising and store set-up
* Adapting your approach through the seasons to maximise impact
* Reporting regular to the National Sales Manager with feedback against targets.
* Positive contribution to team meetings - sharing best practice.
About the Company:
A leading garden trade supplier with a brands that have a loyal following from consumers for decades. A new leadership team is investing in the business to support sales growth.
In order to maximise the success of this role we are looking for:
* A home location in Yorkshire or the North East of England
* At least 5 years of experience as a Sales Representative
* A proven track record of business development – opening and growing independent retail accounts
* A ‘hunter’ and ‘farmer’ profile who enjoys managing the business relationship of the customers they win
* Particularly interesting would be experience selling to garden centres, building relationships and providing in-store training and merchandising.
